1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using ProTalk, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 13 years old to use ProTalk.
2. Description of Service
ProTalk is a Business English learning application that provides:
- Curated and AI-generated audio lessons
- AI-powered roleplay conversations
- Vocabulary flashcards with spaced repetition
- Progress tracking and personalised learning paths
AI-generated content (lessons, roleplay responses, vocabulary definitions) is created by artificial intelligence and is provided for educational purposes. It may not always be accurate and should not be used as professional advice.
3. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
- One account per person. You may not share your account.
- You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract our AI prompts or data
- Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service
- Share, resell, or redistribute app content commercially
- Impersonate other users or ProTalk staff
5. Intellectual Property
All content in ProTalk — including lessons, audio, UI design, and trademarks — is owned by ProTalk or its licensors. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial learning only. You may not reproduce or distribute our content without permission.
6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
ProTalk uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude) to generate educational content. This content:
- Is generated automatically and may contain errors
- Is for educational purposes only
- Does not constitute professional, legal, or financial advice
- May not reflect current events or the latest industry standards
7. Subscription and Payments
ProTalk offers free and premium subscription tiers (Weekly, Monthly, Yearly). Subscription details:
- Title: ProTalk Pro (Weekly / Monthly / Yearly)
- Length: 1 week, 1 month, or 1 year — automatically renewing
- Price: shown in the in-app shop screen before purchase, in your local currency
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID / Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends
- Cancel or manage subscriptions in your device's App Store / Google Play account settings
- No refunds for partial subscription periods unless required by law
8. Disclaimers
ProTalk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
- AI-generated content is accurate or up to date
- Use of the app will improve your English proficiency
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProTalk is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
